Bold colours, staring mask-like faces, flying geese and long rows of houses are part of the distinctive imagery found in Wiliam Skotte Olsen’s atmospheric and symbolic works. The exhibition Deliberate Mistakes shows a large selection of works by Skotte Olsen from private lenders and HEART’s own collection. For the first time at HEART, the exhibition also presents Skotte Olsen’s shed from the ‘Free Town’ community of Christiania; serving as his home, the shed was decorated throughout by the artist.
